Capri by Boat from Naples, Sorrento, Cilento and the Amalfi Coast Duration: about 9 hours Description: you will cruise from Sorrento to Capri with several stops around the island: the Blue Grotto (Grotta Azzurra). From the Blue Grotto you will continue your trip around the island passing by the lighthouse at Punta Carena before making your second stop at the Green Grotto (Grotta Verde,) where you can have a swim in its crystalline waters, then onto Marina Piccola, a perfect spot for lunch and a swim. By taking one of the island`s little buses up to Capri town (only a 10 minute ride away) you can enjoy a drink in the "Piazzetta" (small square) and take your time exploring the island’s historical sites (Villa Jovis, Certosa, Augustus Gardens, Villa San Michele of Axel Munthe). In the afternoon back to Marina Piccola to board the boat for the remaining coastal tour of the island visiting the White Grotto (Grotta Bianca) and the Marvellous Grotto (Grotta Meravigliosa,) admiring the Natural Arch passing through beautiful and mythical "Faraglioni" and then back to Sorrento.
