Caterina Farmhouse

Caterina Farmhouse is located in the Collevecchio territory ( 300 m . above the sea level), in the beautiful environment north of Rome where Tevere river is running, at the borders of Umbria . The area is called “Bassa Sabina ” (Low Sabina) or “Sabina Tiberina ” (Tiber Sabina).

T he reassuring Monte Soratte’s skyline provides the setting for a luscious merry-go-round of centenarian oaks, cypresses, pines, olive groves and vineyards. The railway station (to Rome and to Rome International Airport of Fiumicino) is located at just two kilometers from the estate.

A typical “Casale Sabino ”, built in the heart of the estate, has been restored. The Casale, situated near the beautiful panoramic swimming-pool and the horses stables area, at the moment has four fully furnished independent apartments.
T he architectural division has been thoroughly studied to allow different solutions, offering the possibility of connecting two or more apartments. From 2 to 12 sleeps according to the preferred accommodations.
G uests are welcome to use the swimming pool, barbecue, wood oven. All houses are fully equipped.
T he clubhouse is equipped with a big size TV set and DVD player. Cartoons, films and documentaries in different languages.

Caterina Farmhouse is indeed a model farm, developed around a main building of rare beauty. The estate is run, besides professionally, by the will of maintaining unspoilt the original values bound to the land and its charming nature. It is a real green oasis of peace, where thorough-bred horses and limousine cows are breed.

A ll animals breaded are feed with farm productions. The famous “Sabina DOC - olive oil ” is also produced personally by the owner and is for sale for friends and guests as other seasonal products (grapes, green figs, chestnuts, vegetables etc.)

Casetta del Glicine (sleeps 2 + 2) 50 m .2. Living room with kitchenette and fireplace. One double-bed room. One raised bed room (two single beds). Bathroom with bathtub. Private terrace with porch.

Casetta del Melograno A : (sleeps 2+2) 40 m .2. Living room with two single bed-sofas and cooking area. Raised bedroom (Two single beds or one small double). Bathroom with bathtub. Two garden terraces.

The Casetta del Melograno offers two other solutions (B and C) for two or four more people, connecting the Agave or Ginestra rooms. - B: (sleeps 4+2) 60 m .2 - C: (sleeps 6+2) 75 m .2.

Casetta della Pineta. Agave – Ginestra . Two double-bed rooms. Private bathroom. Bed & breakfast accommodation. Also available in connection with Casetta del Melograno (Solutions B and C).

Casetta della Lavanda (ex Selleria). (sleeps 2) 35 m .2. Living room with fire place and kitchenette. Double bed room. Bathroom with bathtub. Private porch.

Dogs and horses , on notice, are welcome in the dedicated areas (boxes and paddocks).

Rate includes: all linen (for bathroom/kitchen, weekly change included) - final cleaning - water, electricity and gas.

Rate does not include: telephone, heating (available on coin meter), daily cleaning. Waiter service (daily cleaning or cooking) is available, on advance booking, at Euro 8 per hour.

Check-in time: 3 to 7. p.m. The exact arrival time must however be advised at least 1 hour in advance of arrival.
