These apartments situated in the green Roman countryside are ideally suited for those who like the open space, peace and solitude. Only 22 miles from the historic centre of Rome , 3 miles from Lake Bracciano (Anguillara) and 15 miles from the coast and Cerveteri (a famous Etruscan necropolis), La Colonna is conveniently located to explore the best of Lazio. La Colonna is situated on 300 acres of private land with olive tree lined roads, sunflower and wheat fields, and a 46 x 20 foot swimming pool in addition to a smaller children`s swimming pool (26 x 26 feet). The apartments are situated within large areas of green space equipped with tables and chairs for guest to enjoy the beauty of the bucolic surroundings.
All apartments have their own central heating and are furnished in a simple and comfortable style.
Less than one mile away, one can catch the hourly bus to Rome . Alternatively, in Cesano (2.5 miles away) there is fast train which departs every 15 minutes for the Rome-St. Peter Station (centre). Transfer service to and from the Cesano train station can be arranged at an extra cost, as can use of the washing machine. Supermarket, coffee bar, fruit shop and pharmacy are within one mile of the estate.
