Option 1
Departure for Ravello, renowned for its Arab-Sicilian architecture, such as the Moorish cloister, the terrace by the sea "of the infinity" and the gardens of "Villa Rufolo" with its exotic plants. The Villa has hosted numerous musicians, from Wagner who drew inspiration here for the music and the scenography of the "Parsifal", to Giuseppe Verdi; today, it is the venue of a music festival featuring the world's major orchestras; the cloister of Villa Cimbrone was chosen in 1938 by Greta Garbo for her rendevouz with orchestra director Leopold Stokowsky. On the way back, stopover in Amalfi's piazzetta, featuring the fountain of S.Andrea, patron saint of the town and protector of fishermen, to relax sipping limoncello and assorted lemon cakes in the shadows of Amalfi's Cathedral, founded in the twelfth century, when this maritime city-state was a commercial superpower. The Cathedral's bell tower, completed in 1276, features majolica mosaics; the façade, reconstructed in 1891, is decorated with pale gold leaves. Lunch in a local restaurant featuring the Mediterranean diet at it best.
In the afternoon, visit to fashionable Positano, situated in the center of the Amalfi Coast, and a swim.
Option 2
Morning: Ravello and Amalfi. In the afternoon, from Positano you go by boat to "Laurito," a small beach along the coast, for a leisurely swim and seafood lunch. In the evening, shopping in Positano's trendy boutiques and relax at an outdoor cafe.
